PostPosted: Thu Sep 05, 2019 9:20 am    Post subject: Carbon Fibre GT3 Seats retrimmed in Savannah Beige SOLDDDDDD Reply with quote

Hi All,

I am selling my carbon fibre GT3 style seats which include runners to suit a 996/Boxster, maybe others, the mounts are demount-able and could be mounted on to runners to suit other platforms.

The seats have been subject to a retrim in the highest quality leather to suit a Savannah Beige interior. The centres are perforated as per OEM seats with a centre stitch down the middle for some detail as per 997's. The stitch work is faultless and the leather is very soft and still has that smell. The retrim alone was £1000.

The harness surrounds have also been treated to thinned black leather to avoid leaving them in a plastic finish.

Superb seats which pin you in and look great. Overall, the seats are in superb condition as they were hardly used but there are a few marks which I have photographed due to storage and 1 scratch on a bolster due to a key. The carbon fibre is perfect, no marks.

Baby taken place of a 996TT project hence sale.

The pictures really do not show the true colour and quality of the seats.

The bad bits

Could easily be coloured

Won't be seen as you won't have rear passengers!

That's it, they have been in my loft and I have given them a clean but could do with some liquid leather cleaner and conditioner, I have just ordered some so will try to make some time to treat them.

Collection only from Belmont/Sutton, Surrey.

SOLD

Can you post any photos of the stickers that should be on the bottoms of the seats?

No stickers on them..

The runners are of no brand, just what D911 sell for 140 each.. came in parts that required putting together, floor brackets which the runners fit to, the side mounts then fit to those thumbsup

Still here, attempted to fit in my MX5 but they looked stupid, getting in the way in the garage.

I wish that they were tilt-able, as I'd have them then, but I still need regular access to my back seats at the moment.

The side mounts I got from D911 don’t have as much adjustment as that. I’d like to set the seats a bit lower in the car so my knees don’t foul the steering wheel.
