Well two days into ownership and I am already needing assistance on my 996.

Not sure how i missed this viewing the car only a week ago.
Probably just in awe of this thing and couldn't wait to just drive it away.

In looking for an active spoiler issue I have now noticed this pipe is just free and for the life of me cannot see what its meant to connect to.
I do know the previous owner has just replaced the alternator prior to sale and guess they've forgotten to put this back

Can anybody assist me with this ??

It is a vent pipe, tuck it out of the way somewhere.

Welcome BTW

You have evidence of rodent damage there .. might tie in with the spoiler fault ..

Just have a visual check of the wiring harness o/s/r going to the x2 round plugs.

Pipe has a small clip on the base of the black power steering bottle that locates it .. not really important but that's where it goes .
