Is it possible to remove cats without removing silencers?

As per the title on a 997.1 3.6...
I'm changing over from standard to Top gear 200 cell cats and am wondering if there is enough room to not take the back boxes off the car before removing the cats? All my hardware that holds the cats to the manifolds has been replaced with stainless bolts/brass nuts, and I have new sleeves so they should come out fairly easily (have put the car up on ramps and sprayed everything with wd just in case...)
