PCGB alert that Costco UK currently selling the 5000lb Quickjack for £1000 delivered. I've placed an order, hoping I get one and that this one works for a 993...if not I can pay to return it

i was in the Reading store last week and they had quite a few in stock

That is the model I use to lift my 996, it works very well.

Will not lift high enough to drop engine and platform lifts make it difficult to access tank oil filter. Looked at it and went for this which is now recessed in garage floor.

That's a good price. I have the same model which I bought a few years back. I have not tried it on the 997 but over the last 6 months I have been doing a lot of work on an old R53 Mini and it has proved invaluable.

Just slide each ramp under the car, connect to a battery, hit the up button and the cars up in the air. High enough that when working under the car stuff isnt "in your face". I dropped the front subframe off the mini and out easily with loads of clearance.

What is this lift please? Looks great
