How would I achieve this look on Carrera Classic wheels?

Hi,

I currently have Carrera Classic alloys on my 981 Cayman S like below, but potentailly wanting to make them darker like the photos below... how would one achieve this? Do you reckon this is powder coating or plastidip? Hoping it's possible with plastidip as I'd like to be able to go back to original if wanted.

Current alloys:

These are what I want:

Many thanks in advance :)

Chris Weaver from Exel Wheels will sort you out

Just get a wheel company to paint the diamond cut sections.

They look bloody horrible mind

maybe its the lighting or the pics, but it looks like what you want is the inverse of what you have.

Perhaps some masking & using 2 different plastidip colours might get you something similar.

However I can't see how you'd be able to get the painted spokes, & rim, with polished or lighter colours centres & inner edge without having them refurb'd.

haha thanks, I think tbh I might just leave as is and then buy some Carrera S alloys in black :)
