I`ll check with Chief and PeterS to see if they are attending, then have a chat with Paul from Zuffenhaus at our local meet, £50 for a PAX, that`s outrageous

Always wanted to drive Mallory as I used to watch a lot of racing there as a kid but does seem expensive for a non-established event, although the free food may swing it.

Agree with the 50 quid to Pax, Surprised

The £50 for a passenger is because they also get the food, drinks, T-Shirt, media and can also drive and benefit from the training and demonstration laps etc. Moving forward we could have a slightly different price for a passenger Vs second driver, thanks for the feedback.

The price also includes many benefits that would normally be an optional extra:

Helmet (for driver and passenger)
Garage usage
Media
Instructor
Demonstration laps

As well as other things that no trackday offers, also included in the price:

Free car check over
Breakfast, lunch and beverages
Mechanical/electrical support on the day
T-shirt

We had the first one in June, the day was a huge success and feedback was great. It's a great deal and you won't be disappointed!

Had a blast today at Mallory, the circuit is short but sweet and really suited the 944, as I was circulating I thought this is like a kart track but up scaled to fit cars, the lap was over in a minute but due to this it made it very easy to learn some lines and Gerrards in the 944 was ridiculous, I'm not sure much else could come close to the way it went around, apparently it looked quite uncivilised but it just stuck like s*** to a blanket and never really feeling on the raggedy edge, obviously the powerful stuff caught back up on the straights. With the lap being around a minute you get plenty of laps in.

Anyway some pictures.

Giv us a wave Chief

I look forward to seeing some of the official pictures too.

What a great day!
So good to meet up with friends old and new.
Zuffenhaus have again organised a superb and well thought out day.
I know some have said it was expensive for Mallory Park, however we had breakfast laid on with a pork roast for lunch. Free tea, coffee, water, biscuits & cake all day long. Two free driving instructors and free photography, oh and a T Shirt. That I think is good value. Paul, Mike, James and his lovely wife were constantly checking on all of us. A big “Thank You!” to Zuffenhaus Thumb

It tuned out a belter in the end and I think it was worth the money with what was laid on. I had a few sessions where I never saw another car and considering it's such a short track that is amazing. I did enjoy being around some of the 911's and easily keeping pace on a full lap, the '44 was a little under-powered to keep up out of the tighter bends but once I got into the corner I reeled anything else back in.

I want to go back just to keep going around Gerrards, I think the only other cars that were a match for it was the Fashion Grey 991.2, the 993 race car and Chief's Red Baron, everything else just fell away in the mirrors.

Chief in the Red Baron filling my mirrors.
