coullstar, M&MD&D, pzero, Alex, adrian993 - thank you!

Adrian, almost 7 weeks total, or 7 total including the flight days and picking up the dog. You could do it in a month, we have over a week in Palm Springs and two weeks in Tennessee which is what has stretched it out.

A more efficient way would be to pick the car up east coast, somewhere like Charleston, and drop it west coast, somewhere like San Pedro (LA). That way you don't have the double back loop we are doing. Badlands and Mount Rushmore also added days as they are north.

Blog running a bit behind as the days are so long. Been amazing so far.

Amazing progress being made and the sheer distances being covered is impressive! Some very cool photos to go with the memories Thumb.

The episode with the injector/fuel leak would've tipped me into panic mode.. Help Laughing

Excellent thread Tyinsky, thanks for sharing. I've just come back from a road trip along the Pacific coast from Seattle to L.A. and would urge anyone who likes driving and wants to savour the best country in the world, after the UK of course, to do it. Sadly my road trip - we have a family of four - was in a Ford Edge rental car but next time we'll leave the kids at home and get a proper car.
Anyway, stay safe and thanks again.
Regards, Mike.

Wilson Phillips !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please tell me that you had the CD on when you were writing that last installment.

The donkey looks very very cute and to your question -- the anti bac wipe down is slightly more nuts than the donkey licking the car ..........

Tyres (tires) squeal much easier on four door cars. I love the PCH between SF and LA – must of been great. Hope your kids got to see the elephant seals on the beach as you drove down.

Haha, yes, it had been on in the car at some point. We had Spandau Ballet’s ‘Gold' while coming through the mines in Colorado – you missed that one Wink

Apologies for the silence. Been enjoying a break. Post up now and another later this evening with more driving content.

Trip of a lifetime is an oft used phrase, but for me anyway, this tops pretty well anything I have heard that expression used for. Very jealous. Enjoy the last few days. Memories for life.

Thanks for sharing, it’s a great read.

Oh and I don’t believe that you are less than 5ft tall btw Very Happy
