Hi guys,
Annoying little issue here
I have a pair of LED bulbs for the rear indicators.
The right side of the car works just fine, the left side throws an error code and hyper clicks. The lights don't flash at hyper speed, just the click goes hyperspeed.
I can switch the bulbs from side to side and the fault stays with the left hand side. Put the original bulb in and the fault at hyper clicking goes away. Right side of the car is fine all of the time.
Why would this only effect one side of the car?
Nothing's ever easy is it
*Edit* Problem solved with some fancy resistors, link in a post below. That makes for a dear pair of LED bulbs, but they are much brighter than standard
And still much cheaper than genuine all red rear lights _________________ 997.1 C2S

I had the same issue with my rear fog lamp, it would illuminate for 2 seconds then go out and give a bulb blown warning on the dash.
Unfortunately German cars are very sensitive when swapping bulbs out for LED's, I called my supplier ( https://www.classiccarleds.co.uk/ ) and he suggested a ballast resistor for my problem which worked a treat.
Yours being an indicator could be a different issue so it's worth giving Duncan at Classic Car LED's a call and I'm sure he will know what the issue is and have a solution for you. _________________ Full fat Hartech'd C2S Manual

Thanks for the reply
I've mentioned this to the bulb supplier and they said use this resistor kit. Also give a video about the error to which is good. They say '95% of cars are fine with these bulbs, but if you have one of those 5% of cars you'll need these'
They are ordered so fingers crossed they do the job _________________ 997.1 C2S
