Where to get servicing dealt with

Hi all

Opinions please! I've just acquired a 997 with full and regular 2 yearly service history at same main dealer that supplied the car new. It's not too far from me so that's an option. However I live very close to a very well known independent specialist which would be a bit more convenient.

Do you think it's best for routine servicing to keep with that same main dealer or use the indie?

I don't think there is much between them on cost tbh, fixed price servicing being available from main dealers. I'd probably use the indie for non routine work anyway, it's just whether keeping to the main dealer sh is thought really desirable.

And do that :judge:

Indie all the way for me, people that actually care about you and your car.

Pics please!

p.s. I'd go onto yearly oil drops if I were you!

Thanks both and yes I'll have a yearly oil and filter change anyway - do that on my Cayman S too. Those will be jobs for the indies.

Pics will follow asap!
