Anyone done this on a dark car? Thinking of removing mine and going badgeless or with just 911. Reason I ask is that when I was prepping my turbo decklid/wing for painting (now removed) the 'turbo' badge imprint was visible, or something had affected the lacquer somehow, can't remember if it was visible before it was rubbed down though Question

I removed the Targa logo on an arena red 993. There was an 'imprint' there, more of a tint than anything, but it was barely noticeable after a few go's over with ScratchX.

Did this on mine and yes it does leave a mark where it was, but as above you can cut it out with your preferred cutting polish. Feraclé, 3M, Meguiars, Brasso, toothpaste, even T-Cut! Surprised

Did a black car, no mark, but was only about 6-7 years old at the time
