Thinking about getting professionally fitted window tints on my Atlas Grey 997,
not to look mean, its just that i cant wear sunglasses when driving.
Assuming it will improve the look and solve my problem, would like to hear from anyone who had it done.

I went with a 30% tint all round except windscreen , enough to stop the direct sunlight and reduce UVs and add some privacy without attracting the law with too much of a gangsta look. I think its looks more OE to light tint all the same instead of very dark rears and light tint fronts . Thumb Thumb

According to the law, it won't help your problem of not being able to wear sunnies. You can only don't the rear and side rear windows. The door windows and front can't be touched.
I find the arguments for not being able to tint the door windows as ridiculous, so long as they're not too dark.

yep as frank says , you can't , the law says glass can tint up to 20% but glass comes from the factory tinted to usually around 18% so it leaves no allowance for further tinting , this was why I went for a light tint to try and avoid Cop giving me a tug. Thumb
I have yet to try the excuse that I am allergic to the great unwashed masses and need to give myself privacy from them . not sure it would hold up Floor Floor

How times change, I posed a similar question nearly 6 years ago and was told I’d need to get Pizza delivery stickers as well . Hand
