What do we think this will go for then?

Not going to auction until May but looks great if it checks out and if the wheels are genuine ones.

I'm guessing that colour wasn't available on a proper RS though? :dont know:

The shut line on the bonnet to front PU doesn't look right to me :what:

Looks like half a job as the interior looks like it's been passed over for fitting the big FO rear spoiler

This is not the 'infamous' Motorhub car is it :?:

I wouldn't pay 40 large which is the bottom estimate :hand:

No saggy pocket

Yeah I'd have to see it before bidding.

Zingers man, £40k gets you ***** all as far as C2 manual coupes go.
I'd wager that the top estimate is a distant memory cone auction day.
£55k+ is my guess.

This ^

£40k is a fantasy number, will be closer to 60 than 40.

94 Non VR car with 108k miles in a decent colour with the all important Black Leather and Big Bolster Sports Seats. Whats not to like...

My guess is not genuine Speedlines unless they've been rebuilt using non-standard fixings. Probably Tramonts or RH and not cheap Veloce.

£50k+ all day long...

C.

I had this car inspected in 2017 before I bought my 993.

Inspected by a well known specialist who uncovered light accident damage and quite a bit of filler to the drivers side rear wing.

I walked away when it was £38k.

Quite a long way from the RS Clubsport spec as described and 200bhp?
A nice clean car but hardly a replica.

Depends on if the body kit is oe.
The wheels aren't otherwise the Porsche scripton them would be photographed.
Roof photo cropped, so there's a sunroof no doubt.
A lovely looking car, but body kit and strut brace doesn't make it an RS copy.
Must be running a bit rough if it's only producing 200 horses.
Why would you auction it?
Not quite 50k, it's too 'got at"
Needs another 10kspent on it to be nice
Roof out
Wiper delete, washer delete, rear seat delete
Suspension steering and engine mount upgrade
Door cards and some decent lightweight seats.
Then it's 60k and above.

If that ends up being mid £40's (inc fee) then a good buy.

(assuming straight history)

Great info Nick, exactly why I love this forum.
You've just saved me holding off on other options and trailing 4 hours south to an auction. I owe you a beer. :thumb:

Regarding it not being an RS replica, well I'm in full agreement obviously, but £50k will never buy anything more than a C2 with the bare basics of RS parts, so 'RS lookalike from 6ft away" maybe.
That would do me though. I'd never badge one up as an RS, or say it was anything other than C2, so just having the look would be fine. Details like sunroof and washer jets coulds stay.

I viewed the RPR car yesterday. I'll update the other thread though as that's where I mentioned it. :thumb:
