Not seen this before. Assume it's been customised and wasn't an option?

Makes it look like a 996 to my eyes.
 
Could be just a strip of translucent blue vinyl?
 
I'm sure I've seen this on a RUF build. I prefer the wraparound OEM reflector.

Reflector a no no for me. Any opinions on the wheels?
 
Wheels on the 993 in the first pic are one of my faves. BBS MY02's, very light and strong and a doddle to keep clean.
Alloys on the Grey Ruf, Boat Anchors... :grin:

Definitely not a fan of that reflector (pretty sure its a mod, rather than an option). Also pretty sure that car is @iris.sally.993 on Instagram which I had thought was a rather tasteful build all things considered...hadn't seen that pic though.
 
Definitely a RUF signature, as displayed on their restored 993 Targa - complete with 3.8l motor - on their display stand at the Geneva Motor Show this year:
