So I had my usual valeting man come over to do a winter protection on my cayman today. After washing, claying and polishing, he applies Gtechniq Exo to the body, G1 clear vision to the windows and C5 wheel armour to the wheels. I love the end result.

I didn't feel like the body work needed a detail, the paint appears to be in great nick although a noticed a couple of small rust spots on the bottom ends of the from wheel arches (both sides, sorry, no pics). Something to treat properly when I get round to it but for now, brushed area with rust remedy.

That looks superb, but for winter protection I'd be more concerned about the underneath than the top.

Thanks MrCorn.

That's why I spelt 'winter' like this! For me, I'm happier to cleanse the body and protect that and to be fair, the underneath looks in great nick. Also, we're coming out of winter (one hopes) so I wasn't too concerned with the under-carriage.
