removing resonator from 997 air box

anyone done this recently and got pics?

I heard you have to cut it out as not screwed in like the 996 was.

its blocked off anyway with a bung and just want a bit more air going in and through the panel filter.

going 200 Cell CATs too.
 
You have to dremell off the 997.1 res mate ,but it does open up about 25% more of the air filter :thumb:

No Olly , dont Start trying to mess with the gen2 airbox the two intakes are great and if you want more then Fabspeed or some other twin cone induction kit. :thumb:
 
Right, dremmel is comming out and hacking time!! Then couple months itll be a Flabspeed twin cone!! :thumb:
