A healthy dose of YOLO , Man Maths, Insomnia, Divorce settlement and who knows what else got me browsing the classifieds... Hand

The 997 GTS is going, and my dream car is coming

Had to be n/a, RWD, Manual, Widebody, and have PCM3 .
Having spent 66 days in a 991.2 C4s cabriolet this summer , I was already convinced a 997 was still the one I wanted .

Weirdly at 4:30am Surprised I find myself loading Autotrader app on my phone....
A car had been listed overnight ... “in prep, photos to follow...”. It definitely wasn’t there previous evening...

I was first caller at 9am .... didn’t take much convincing Floor

https://www.johnhollandsales.co.uk/used-cars/9734575-porsche-911-gt3-1-owner-collectors-example/

Was meant to be I think ... I’m probably mad, only time will tell
Dont know

Booked for a 111 point check , will put an OPC warranty on it.

#Excited

You've obviously spent too much time exercising your left limbs in Gary's GT2 recently. Very Happy

Grin

Hence my preference for N/A. Turbo(s) are too fast for me.
Also, my GTS with PSE and Fabspeed x pipe is glorious, I’d miss the noise.

Utterly logical Guy. What took you so long? Grin

Sadly I’ll not see it this year at Dinslaken. But I’ll try and nip down too a Badgers Mount meet to see it at as it looks stunning Cloud 9

Well done mate, you deserve it thumbsup

Wow, just wow! I’d need to see the yellow dials in real life though, like the Chrono clock, unsure about the dash.

Keep us updated! Looks incredible Smile

Outside of CS bits, it's got a great spec. Congrats on a great purchase. I too long for a 997.2 GT3 and my calc and AutoTrader are always going flat out.
Look forward to hearing your thoughts after a bit of time with it.

That looks the t*#s Guy, can’t be many one owner versions of those about, carbon interior is the icing on the cake!

Don’t bother with the warranty, spend the money on a full Akra exhaust system!!
