Has anyone any thoughts on the Mclaren MP4-12c?
They are around the 80k mark, surely a bargain and cant get any lower.
Funnily enough I said that when they dropped to £90k last year. I told myself "They're at the bottom of the bell curve and will head back up towards £100k next year" as I toyed with buying into it.

Can they really depreciate much more?
I reckon, yes!

I know they had a few issues to start with and they were sorted with I presume all cars having the IRIS2 upgrade and engine mod.
The Iris upgrade is the least of your worries on the 12C.
I started looking at the 570S for a while with a view to aligning things for a purchase this year, but then a certain green GT3 popped up for sale and put paid to that! I reckon it's done me a favour as my heart really is with Pork and with McLaren's plan for 18 new models by 2025 I can't see residuals being too solid on any but the specials.
That said, I guess it is possible that the 12C, being the first of the "new era" McL's, could achieve a sought after status. Unlikely though as, unlike cars such as the 911 which has a clear lineage of evolution, the new models tend to push down residuals of the older ones. The cheapest 570S I saw was £107k so another question could be when will these dip into 5 figures...
Just my opinion though, so counts for nothing.
