That’s what I figured but they invited others who already ordered. I suspect I won’t be in country around the date but it sums up this purchase experience.
It’s not been fun this time round having to drag replies and help out of the OPC. Think I’ll shift to another OPC for the next car. Assuming it is Porsche!
God I sound miserable 😀. Actually really excited car due into Porsche around 1 April and I can’t wait. Dance Tap

Yup, you should have had an invite regardless. Im not buying from my local dealer, instead they are over 100 miles away and I still got an invite from the dealer. Porsche Teesside, speak to Keith Penman, best experience ive ever had, been top notch thumbsup

I bought 2 locally and a GT3 from another and never had an invite to anything other than a new Cayenne launch just after I bought my first.

Saw the new one at Geneva and it is a really pretty thing. New dash is lovely. It’d be a cab for me.

Seems GDPR is being blamed for the lack of invite. Dont know
I’m stopping by before the evening do for a sneak look around.

Hopefully my car won’t still be sat in a warehouse waiting for transport as it’s been since last Monday.

Me and the Mrs went to the Porsche opening last night. I thought the car looked much better in real life than in pictures. The rear screen seems to come down much lower and integrates with the lid vents. It makes the rear look lower than the 991.

The interior looks smart too, contemporary but with nods to earlier models.

Can’t see a reason to change though

The Newcastle event is being held at the Sage on the 29th due to the OPC showroom being upgraded.
Apparently Gateshead council have agreed to change the lighting on the millennium bridge to Porsche colours, so looking forward to a great night as the Sage is an excellent venue right by the river.
