Changing gear shift knob and on new knob button stuck in...

I'm changing the gear shift knob on my 958 turbo, got the old one off and the new one has its button stuck pressed in, how do i release this please prior to fitting as it doesnt spring out when i fit it? Anyone know?
 
Fixed!! Used a narrow pry tool and managed to unclip the button.. released the pin....clipped back together and now this carbon/leather gear shift is all fitted with my new leather/ carbon heated steering wheel.... result!!
