Hi all, I'm after a ducktail for 997.1 (although some fit all 997's).
I'm aware of all of the options and most of the various pros and cons but am budget constrained so happy to consider any second hand options.
Please pm me if you have anything lying around, or coming off your car in the near future.
Many thanks!
John.

bump - still looking, ideally for an RPM, but other similar ones considered. Thanks

Still looking... Not long before my road trip would love to get one before it!

just go and buy one from D911 of you dont want to stump up for the RPM carbon one.

Your asking for a limited spoiler thats generally only available aftermarket that will be purchased by enthusiasts who probably intend to keep the car.

Or are you expecting someone to sell you one for £200?

If there's one going for 200 I'll have it 8)

A C2/4 wont fit yours as the holes on the underside are different so would need modding.

So I guess you'll have to spend £201 :floor: :floor: :floor:

RPM want £2600 fully fitted and painted. I don't think I can justify that personally, I'd be prepared to pay something like £2k.
D911 want £1600 or so, which I am prepared to pay for a high quality result, but have heard mixed things on quality, hence I'm unsure. It remains the primary option but I have decided to wait a bit first and see if any come up for sale, as in my experience people often take them off to return cars to OEM when they sell, and this is a popular time of year to sell.

I have heard of two rpm ones go for £800 in the last 6 months, but have missed out for various reasons. Obviously that would still required fitting (and unless I'm very lucky with it being basalt black, painting) but it would still bring it in to the price range of the D911 one, and I'd be confident in the quality.

I'm still very interested in other non rpm ones if the price is right, as it would give me some leeway if the quality isn't spot on to rectify it (if it's paint for example) or to sell it on without losing too much if I'm not happy with it.

I'm not expecting unrealistic things, but thanks for your advice. I'm only bumping it every few weeks to try and ensure if any of the very helpful and friendly people on here are thinking of selling I'm front of mind.
Apologies if this is annoying anyone.

I don't know about the fit / quality or cost of these but have you seen that Moshammer make a ducktail for the 997, i guess its worth a mail to find out how much they sell them for if you haven't tried them yet.

just found this on an old thread as well

Bump. Still looking! Cheers.

Join the queue. No shortcuts getting one of these. We will have to bite the bullet & buy one from one of the specialists.
Maybe they would do a special price if we order 2 together?
