ORIGINAL POST

If you want to have a great day at the prettiest castle in England and save a lot of money in the process this event will be of interest to you.

Sign up to display your car for £10 and entry for 4 people is included.
NB: Adult entry normally costs £25 per person with kids at £17.50.

911uk attended this event in 2013, 2014 and 2015 (when it was organised by the 'Super Car Siege' charity) and again last year and have always had a fantastic time.

I have made the organisers aware that members of 911uk.com would like to display their cars at this event and have asked them to reserve places for us for displaying on Sunday 12th May.

At the moment all I need is a list of people that would like to come.

Please do not submit an application form to the organisers yet.

Important: You must be prepared to arrive at the venue before 9 am and be prepared to stay until 4.30 pm.

It is a long day but there's plenty to see and do and just ogling at the 500+ cars and chatting with other 911uk members kills an awful lot of time.

So, if you're interested please add your details below.

If you have any queries please don't hesitate to ask me.

I'm dealing with them on behalf of all of us at the moment.

Please leave registration/payment until I get confirmation of how many we can enter.

NB: PCGB and ourselves are both exhibiting so it's possible that individual applications from Porsche owners will get turned down.

Just to advise you all of some very disappointing news that I received from the event organisers yesterday.

I contacted them on 17th January with a request for us to be granted 20 places for Sunday 12th May. On 18th January I was told that 'someone from the events team would be in touch soon'.

Since then I have sent e-mails asking for confirmation - without reply - until yesterday when my latest request was responded to by the Event Manager.

She advised me that our request to display our cars on the Sunday 12th May had been declined but that she would reserve us places for Saturday 11th May.

I have responded to this news expressing my disappointment and asked them to reconsider the decision if we were only to bring 12 cars.

I have no idea when I'll get a response or whether it will be a positive one so in the meantime I am posting this to ask:

(1) Whether those that originally signed up for the Sunday date would still be interested in attending on the Saturday and

(2) Whether anybody that couldn't make the Sunday date would be interested in attending on the Saturday.

When I get some definitive news I'll post again.
