So I finally get why people bang on about North Wales for driving. I'd previously thought it was good, but after today's run out to Portgmadog and back via Bets-y-coed from my place near MCR airport I now think it's outstanding.
The landscape was truly dramatic, the roads flowing and traffic light. Although the run of encountering peanut hot hatch drivers in Wales with something to prove continues. Rolling Eyes
All in all a great day, and something to re run when the weather is warm, sunny, dry and sans Mrs P Grin
A couple of pics from when the sight was dramatic and not rainy

I take it you don't want the missus there so you can join in with the Welsh tradition.

I'm calling ignorant foreigner card on this one. Is it something to do with with walking sheep to the cliffs edge?

Days like that are great. I’m finding it a bit greasy out there at the moment.

Not ventured over to wales in the Pork yet. - see any ‘traffic safety’ officers?

Not a sausage. The only thing I came across was I went down a random road with Average Speed Cameras. Given the weather and having summer tyres I wasn't upset in the slightest.

Best get over quick before the hot hatch hero's run outs looking for exotica to prove their worth against for perceived bragging rights.

But it looks wet and rainy.....
Makes me feel stressed thinking about all that cleaning afterwards.

Yeah I know it very very well that way and the roads with scenery just beautiful. Good to hear you had a wicked and safe day.

Hay just think if you sent via Ffestiniog with all that grey slate and your grey / silver mota you could pretend you were a Klingon in cloaking mode Razz
