Nice! The Carrera 4 models do look good in white. Probably because that red full width reflector does such a good job of accentuating the hips and plays nicely against the light colour. Classy combo Thumb

Perfect combo chap. Even better if the 993 is white 4S (that would be a rare beast!).

There's a lot of love for the red strip at the back, it's the only thing I don't like about the c4/s.

Elan I've been looking too, I was tempted to try and get over to Essex prestige yesterday but the wife wasn't keen on taking up her day off.

A couple of good spec cars about but they are around 50k.

I wasn’t sure about white 997 but it does look very good , especially with the red stripe.

Bund, I was a bit disappointed with the bodywork of the car at Essex Prestige, fair bit of stone cops around the front, arches and scrapes around door/door handle. Maybe I am being picky as it a 10 year old car but other cars had better bodywork.

The 50k cars are in better shape but in 991 territory?

There is a couple of good private cars for sale but would prefer to px my car then sell privately.

I agree Rakerone car looks good, I wasn’t considering white but will if the spec is right.

The Essex car was owned by another forum member who’s confirmed its mechanically in good shape but at 70k you’re going to get the odd scratch/chip but maybe the black colour is showing those up more?

I’m happy to buy private but haven’t seen any pdk .2 4S for sale on the normal channels?

Hey chap, I realise this is not what you’re after but I know you like your toys; this is a nice C2S at JZM. It’s red so not to everyone’s taste but the options are lovely. Plus 21000 miles so will be fresh.

Hey Matt

That is a good looking car but has to be a PDK this time round so I'll use it everyday, I'm using my 560 daily at the moment over the RS4 as my journeys are short and its now a pain using a manual box.

Rakerone does it also have extended leather to the dash, i'm not sure if this was standard?

It's of interest to me if Elan doesn't want a private car at the moment.

Let me know what you're after please, i'll keep an eye out for a pm.

Bund, that's fine as I prefer to px mine and I don't mind a manual car.

The private sale I was referring to is a one owner manual car on Autotrader for £40k. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201812283507594?

The red car does look very nice but not sure if the Mrs will be happy with the bucket seats.

Buy the red car, and sell me the buckets (they work tremendously well in my other car, as my wife no longer wants to drive it).

Is it just me, when I click on any of the Autotrader links I get the page below.

I have a C4s/2 pdk (no intention of selling just yet) but have been reading this post with great interest, especially with peoples wants & must haves and not to haves … Question

Many thanks for that Rojdog/Bund & T8, I found the bit to disable it, but as I clear out the cookies often I don’t think it will last. Also, apologies to Elan for hijacking your thread.
As I was saying though I also have a C4s/2 and reading some of the replies on this thread I was beginning to wonder if I had made a mistake with the one that I bought.
It is my first 911 that I bought from a OPC (mainly for peace of mind), I know that I paid OTT with the price but I didn’t want to take any chances, but with the replies on this thread with buying and selling and the must haves I was beginning to think that I’m going to struggle to sell mine at a later date.
Why? Because it’s a pdk and “oh no it doesn’t have a PSE” also it’s coming onto 60k miles now.
Then it’s nice to read that other owners have a pdk, but what about the “high mileage”. To some it’s high but to others it’s barely run in. On a positive note, these low mileage cars will be harder to find and more to pay for, so I can relax that there are other people out there that think the same way that I do. Well at least I’m hoping.
