Has that GT4 replaced the 981 yellow Boxster or have I got the owners mixed up Dont know

Hand Jonttt, a word of warning about being out in the desert for too long. Despite some suggestion I was auditioning for the Black & White Minstrel Show (despite an absence of skill on the Maracas) Rolling Eyes you need to be well protected in the sun Thumb

Yes, Hari has traded the Boxster down at Nottingham OPC after getting no joy at Bolton.

Thumb No surprise with Bolton. They offered me less on my Cayenne than WBAC Bandit

Did Hari see the PTS 'Olive' green GT4 at OPC Bolton. I nearly dipped a toe into that when it was with the previous owner Rolling Eyes That said Bolton have been too near the exhaust fumes when they put the price on it what

Yes, that exact car. He'd viewed it and not bothered, then changed his mind, then wasn't impressed with the lack of negotiating and communication so went and bought the one he has down at Nottingham - for all the right figures.

Grin Did they mention I wonder it has been exported to NZ by the UK owner who tried to sell it there except New Zealanders' are a conservative car buying bunch it would appear and only buy 'normal' colours. Hence it came back to UK to sell to a wider audience. It's a marmite car (especially with red contrast stitching Rolling Eyes ) but I quite liked it at the time. Still do but it's the wrong side of 70 bags Grin

For GT4 it is with Brexit around the corner, no deal and the new GT4 ready to launch.

The Acid Green GT4 at Bolton helped make up my mind that now was a good time for me to buy a GT4. I just couldn't get them to offer a decent trade in on my 997 & Boxster. No mention that the car had been to New Zealand. I think the colour combination is great though. In the end bought from Nottingham as they had choice of GT Silver or Racing Yellow. Went with the GT Silver as it was in slightly better condition - price had been lowered in January so paid list price for it. Still not driven it in anger due to weather and cold tyres.

Your meets sound good but too far from London.

Now for the cheeky request! I'll be up for the Classic Resto show at the NEC in March, could you arrange you March meet for the 22nd?

Mike

Frank - did you see this post?

Might be worth having the March meet then if we're planning Oulton park on the 8th March. What do you think?

Would be nice to meet one of the southern members.

Yes, ive chatted to Mike off line. Was planning on doing it that day he suggested, as i think a fair few of us will scrap work off and go to the RS day, being on the 9th, its too close to our normal timings. Then April can revert back to the first Sat again.
Ill put it together tonight. Thumb
