Hi everyone

We're delighted to be involved with The Supercar Event again. In 2019 the event will be held at the Goodwood circuit on 1st June.

As usual the aim is to raise as much money for The Children's Trust, the UK's leading charity for children with brain injury.

There will be approximately 150 super/hyper cars available for passenger rides on the circuit, The Sporting Bears will take people out onto the roads in the local area and Caterhams will be giving rides around (and around and around!) the slalom course.

Loads of other attractions will be available to keep the whole family entertained such as a children’s fun area, helicopter rides, hovercraft rides, etc.

It will be great to have a display from 911uk so if you are interested in finding out more please take a look at this page of our website and then contact us.

Cheers,
L'rs

A very worthwhile event and charity, I have driven this event for the last 7 years at Dunsfold/Top Gear, the only one I missed was this year at Rockingham unfortunately.

With Rockingham closing I think this is a good thing for the event as they now have secured Goodwood, its in the South so will get more attendee's and in turn raise more money (again).

There are usually a few 911uk members at this event and its great to catch up with some I only see there. There did used to be a meet section with 911uk as part of that but club meets weren't really pushed for the later years. If you want to drive Goodwood (usually for free, confirmation Longers?) this is a great event for it, not a full on track day due to having passengers and a lot of them are kids but a perfect way to get on track without going balls out and its all in the name of fun and a lot less intimidating than a regular track day.

Yep, there's no charge for anyone wanting to take passengers out for circuit rides. Obviously the organisers want to make sure there are plenty of different cars available on the day so if you do want to take part it'll be best to contact me to register your interest sooner rather than later.

I have also mentioned the event to a couple of other clubs & groups I work with and they are already thinking about turning this into a big national/social meet. There is plenty of space available so it'd be great to have a good turnout from 911uk as well Wink

Cheers,
L'rs
