Hope you’re re-enacting the famous George Best hotel bedroom scene? You know the one about “where did it all go wrong.....?” Grin

We made quote an impression when we went there:

Got back Sunday night, took me 4 days to write this up Sad

The most AMAZING hotel ever!!!!!

It is worth visiting Germany just for this place!

So here goes, VERY picture heavy so feel free to skip.

We arrived late Friday night, did the Porsche museum on Saturday and the Mercedes museum on the Sunday.

On the Saturday morning/afternoon we had a wonder around the V8 hotel showroom, heavy on old Classic Merc’s and McLaren’s. Had a McLaren showroom inside the hotel as well as a service centre!

On Sunday Afternoon we popped across the road and spent hours wondering around the old part of the hotel. Now this place was something else…

FRIDAY:

Arrive and have a beer, check out the iced part of the bar where you keep your beer cold….heaven!

View from the bar:

Now the cars begin, the basement:

Mercs, Mercs and MORE Mercs:

Some old racing thingamabob:

A mix of things to come (more tomorrow so stay tuned):

So the next part is censored as we went out to Stuttgart after about 4 beers in the hotel bar.

THE ROOM

We got the Martini room as I wanted to sleep in the Porsche rather than the Mini, even the soap was cool:

The mugs:

The bed:

Wheel tables in the room:

The old part far right and the big showroom to the left of it where there is so much car porn (see Sunday morning):

Now more McLaren pics…feel free to zoom down to the Pagani Zonda:

Sex wee time:

Outside:

Now this Arthur guy is my new hero. mixture of Merc’s and Pork (a similar 917 sold for $12 million he told us!):

Check this thing out:

Pork:

I know….

SATURDAY

Porsche museum was about 20 minutes away on the train. Arrived to see a lovely BMV (as zee Germans call them). About 200 0dd pics here so feel free to skip some:

Don’t skip the ones with the young lady who has an amazing rear LOL!

Spot of lunch:

I will let the cars speak for themselves so here goes (VERY PIC HEAVY):

A hollow spoke wheel:

Bootiful isn’t she Alex!!!!

I told you………..

Guess the car??

My trophy cabinet from my single days…………

Nee nor nee nor:

I hope you all like PORK!

An empty hall!

919

Had to be done LOL!!!

Night night…

So that was the museum! Shop is bl00dy expensive…

Across the road is the Porker showroom, it was closed so we just had a look around the car park:

Saturday night out, we saw this on the way to the Brauhaus!!!

SUNDAY

Wake up Sunday morning, pop across to the old part of the hotel…OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved this BMV

Mancave items:

This is just GREEDY!

Welcome to Lambo HEAVEN:

Some bike porn:

So we walk out of this part of the hotel. Find a random garage across the road which has a bar in it and some old bloke watching redtube on his laptop:

Mercedes museum:

These next 8 are just dream car pics:

EVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was an amazing weekend. May join the Dinslaken crew at the V8 if I can. I’d go back just for the hotel!

And YES…..I did steal a Gulf mug Thumb

Great pics, thanks for taking the time to post them all.
Absolutely brilliant that place. Thumb

Do you think the staff expect people to take the mugs and soap? Or do you reckon try think “Pikeys!”.
I only ask as I’ll be taking everything that’s not nailed down. Wink

They were lucky as I was going to take the bed and ball chair too but we had CheesyJet flights so I couldn't fit them in my case... Sad

Luckily, we woke up late on Sunday so I passed 2 cleaning trolleys that were fully stocked up Grin

PS Pikey's don;t use soap Floor

PPS no offence to traveller types as we had our own issues all weekend which put a dampener on the trip. Let's just say that there are still a few Hitlerjugend about nooo
