Well unfortunately I have had a run of bad luck.

Missus and son gone, broke and a nervous breakdown so not worked for 2 months and no chance of going back.

C4S needs a new home, 2002 Arctic silver over metropole, 116k but in great condition. I had intended to keep this car for good and gift to my son when he is old enough but hey ho. Done lots of work and the car is stunning.

Will post more details when I feel up to it, PM me

I need to shift quickly so I have posted here first in the hope that a) it will go to another enthusiast who will appreciate it
b) I don't have to go down the route of getting totally shafted by we buy any car or the like

Also, 3 bed house on outskirts of Huddersfield for sale, double garage, open countryside etc.

Cat also available free to good home, 2 years old never goes out

Peace

Sad news HG

I've moved your thread to the 'Cars for Sale' sub-forum.

Thanks, It can go today if someone wants it. Not bothered anymore, just want the money

Sorry to hear of your bad news, at a sensible price I am sure it will shift in a short space of time. Don't get taken to the cleaners on it though.

Good luck for the future.

MC

I want shut ASAP, can't afford the mortgage, can't afford to eat.

Some lucky so and so will grab a bargain this week and I mean this week. I need it gone by Friday.

If no offers come in then it's WBAC Friday morning, I will take the first sensible offer

It's a manual, will post details and photos later when I'm feeling better

I don't give a monkeys anymore

Coupe or Cab?

Painful to read your post mate.

Had similar a few years ago, keep your chin up - you'll look back in a few years with a different feeling.

Good luck in the sale - don't take peanuts for it.

Hmm, sorry to hear this.

Im interested in buying.

I love my 996 Turbo and if I was in your situation I would want two things.

To know its going to a good home that will ensure the car will be cared for and not flipped in 6 months time.

And

To have the option to buy the car back in the near or distant future should my circumstance change.

Happy to talk with you about this. I have sent you a PM.

All the Best

Si

From one C4s owner to another.. ✊🏽 Life throws blows. You've definitely got an unfair share,, sorry to read this. Sending you some positivity.

You've got a desirable car (widebody, great colour combo and manual gearbox) that will find a home at the right price to fit your needs. If I didn't have one I'd be calling.

Si.. you're a true gentleman - hope this deal works out.

Can I suggest you call one or two of the specialists rather than WBAC? They'll offer something daft.

I sold my last 911 to Roly at eporsch:-

Looks like he's just sold a C4s. You might be lucky there. I'm sure others can suggest other potential buyers. Have a look on pistonheads for numbers.

That way you'll get a realistic trade price rather than generic.

Good luck. :thumb:

Absolutely!

I was in a similar situation nearly 3 years ago when I had to cash in pretty much everything I owned including my GT3.

Life can give you a kick in the balls every now and then but try to be strong and work your way through things one at a time.
Trying to deal with everything in one go will get on top of you.

I had some lovely messages and advice from people on here when I was stuck and i'll never forget how much support I had and that helped me through.

Remember what you have achieved once you can achieve again.

Just wanted to say sorry to hear about your situation.

Things WILL work out but sometimes take a little bit of time to sort itself out. Just remember the long term goal and make sure you have a few pick me ups on the way.

Wish I could rehome your cat for you but my two wouldn't accept another adult puddy cat in the house.

Take care of yourself

Jim

Terrible news OP.

For what its worth I had something similar a while back and nearly ended up bankrupt.

Fortunately you can't halt time, and time is a great healer.

Chin up, don't let yourself be walked over and try not to make rash decisions.

Good luck :thumb:

...sounds like an awful situation for you, and you are clearly struggling so just try not to be too hard on yourself...be kind to yourself instead...

Take care of yourself my friend...
