Anyone know about this car? Has it already been discussed?

Looks good... Nice update to the classic shape, not sure how well the outside would sit with the Boxster dash.

Not the most in-depth of websites, be good to put up some more detail.

Looks very looooonnng and a bit shoite in my opinion

Don't see the harm myself though not my thing. Anything that makes use of the wonderful Boxster 986 platform is fine by me. Life's short and we need characters not clones as a wise forum member once said :dont know:

However how does the air get to the front radiators :?:

I love 356s and Boxsters are fine handling things but that just doesn't look right. I can appreciate the work they've put in though.

Personally I'd choose a Chesil speedster over the above. I do hope to buy a Chesil at some point.

One was on display at the Classic Car Show today. Have to say it is BIG looks ok from distance but gets bigger the closer you get to it. Biggest issue is £55K plus the cost of donor car !!

found a picture, looks long but certainly an improvement over the era boxster

but £55k for the body is a lot

+1 on all that.

Was only thinking the other day when someone's going to start using the 986/96 platform as some recreation. They are both fantastic cars that tick every box in their category (apart from external looks). Both interiors IMHO have that true curvy sexy sports car look that's as suited to a car from the 60s as one from the 90s. I always thought it was a shame they axed the 993 interior (which they later used for the 996) and fit the 80s Ford Escort style they did. It would've been the icing on the 993 cake.

With regards to the rads, I'n guessing there's some sort of air duct under the front that directs air flow up to the rads and potentially increases down force. :dont know:

Another 986 recreation:

Not 100% convinced but unique & more appealing to the eye than the original 986 or some modern 2 seater sports cars:

Sorry, but that :yeah: is horrible

Hmmm very interesting but I think I would more likely do this conversion.
