Have been looking for some time for an affordable OEM quality front splitter to balance out the ducktail only to find that other than some sus custom splitters the only option appears to require replacement of the complete bumper at great expense.

I then found a guy in the US who produces an adaptor kit which enables a standard OEM 991 splitter to be installed in the mounting holes on the 997.2 bumper. I'm very pleased with the look and ease of installation and can recommend the setup to anyone who wants a OEM quality splitter at a reasonable price.

More details can be found here ...https://rennlist.com/forums/997-forum/1088022-991-sports-lip-spoiler-adapter-for-997-2-done.html

Very nice and member Monster has done the same mod on his 997.2 front bumper, looks great and very OE unlike some of the bulky aftermarket options Thumb Thumb

I am just waiting on my adapters - the chap sells them on eBay! Not the cheapest but it gives a factory finish from what I have seen.... plus the 991 Splitter is cheap as chips!

Yes as Phil says - I did mine a year or so ago before he had developed the fitting kit he is now selling - clever guy and he makes the parts up on a 3D printer I believe. Here's a few pics of mine with it fitted.

That looks great, but the reflection of that sky on the bumper in the second pic is enough to make a bloke Sad for a bit of home. Great work on your car Thumb

Shipping from US to AUS via the ebay listing was around USD 25 plus import charges of USD 35 (mostly 10% VAT) so shipping to the UK can't be more than this I would have thought. However, I note the listing is marked as sold at the moment so clearly making up some more kits.

Just had an email from EMC2.

Hi Paul,

Just an FYI - I created 2 new eBay links specifically for the UK (below), in case anyone else on your forum is looking.
I've reduced the price to $229 only for the UK listing - hopefully this helps a bit. (approx £180)

PORSCHE 911 FRONT SPOILER ADAPTER KIT / 997.2 - 991 OEM SPORTS SPOILER *UK ONLY* | eBay
$229.00
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PORSCHE-911-FRONT-SPOILER-ADAPTER-KIT-997-2-991-OEM-SPORTS-SPOILER-UK-ONLY/264112328059?hash=item3d7e524d7b:g:I5QAAOSw0F9bnmtW:rk:1:pf:0

PORSCHE 911 FRONT SPOILER ADAPTER KIT / 997.1 - 991 OEM SPORTS SPOILER *UK ONLY* | eBay
$229.00
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PORSCHE-911-FRONT-SPOILER-ADAPTER-KIT-997-1-991-OEM-SPORTS-SPOILER-UK-ONLY/264112358552?hash=item3d7e52c498:g:egYAAOSw~slcG7-J:rk:1:pf:0

Kind regards
