Event: Sat Dec 08, 2018 3:00 pm

Hi all,
******************
Some firm details now for the below:
3pm @ Sawyers Arms
https://www.nicholsonspubs.co.uk/restaurants/northwest/thesawyersarmsmanchester?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=gmb
The above link has all the details including a map.

6pm@ Alberts Schloss
https://www.albertsschloss.co.uk/contact/
The rest will be as it comes.

*********************

I normally put our monthly catch up as a north West based heading as to not waste anyone's time clicking on a thread they have no real interest in. Over the past year in the North West, month in month out we've managed to cobble together a good bunch of people to share the odd coffee/beer/feed.
Now that we are approaching Xmas, we are putting together a Xmas get together which I share with the whole 911uk.com community. We in the NW are planning on getting together on the 8th December in Manchester for a drink and a feed. Details are being formalised with some help from Alex Yates son, Jake, who has some connections in the entertainment industry up here.
As a loose plan, the day is looking like something something along the lines of:

Arrive at 2pm at designated pub for initial meet up
Hit up several other pubs throughout the afternoon
Head to prebooked restaurant for dinner 8pm
Back on the town to finish the night off

With Manchester being under 2 hrs from London by train, this invite goes out to all. It would be great to meet others from around the country. Hotels aplenty await those who are thinking of coming from afar.
ThIs isn't an official 911uk event, just a few of us getting together to share some Xmas cheer up in the NW.
Stay tuned as events get locked in.

Wow, that sounds ..... ambitious ie meet up at 2pm for drinks and meal at 8pm Grin

Unfortunately I won;t be able to make this as a scouser in Manchester with drinks involved is not a good mix (I have years of experience). I also could not be held responsible for Sponges mental state by the end of the evening nooo

Plus I have our main works do on the Friday evening (which usually takes me 2 days to get over) and a family panto to attend in the afternoon Rolling Eyes

I am however looking forward to seeing the pics already Thumb

Just come off the phone to the son. He's talking about getting us in here for the meal:

https://www.albertsschloss.co.uk

Bavarian style Beer cellar. Says it's perfect for us and can do us a deal with the owner for a discount/freebies.

Thoughts anyone?

Must admit, meet at 2pm and dine at 8pm is a bit ambitious IMHO, especially if we're planning on staying out after the meal.

The Albert Schloss looks like the go for dinner. Looks like a great feed with plenty of protein available on the menu.
For those interested in attending, can you pop your name below as we need to get numbers for booking. Thanks to Alex's son Jake for lining this up too
