Hi guys. I keep getting a misfire on cylinder 2 code once up to temp and on Ritick over, clears with revs but just noticeable as lumpy at low revs. Changed all coil packs and plugs. What’s next to try?. Thanks in anticipation.

If you know its cyl no.2 then i assume you are getting a fault code for that cylinder and nothing else basically saying misfire .

3 things can cause a SINGLE cyl misfire ..

No or a weak spark .

No or a low compression , valves , rings worn .

No or a poor injector spray pattern .

Actually 4 things .. inlet mainifold seal on that cyl is leaking .. so rare as to be almost impossible .. but .. erm .. its possible .. just .

Swop the injector with another and see if the fault switches cyl to the one you have swopped it with .

Do a compression check .

If the above is ok then you need to pin out the wireing from injector / coil to the dme and check for continuity .

if thats ok you are left with a faulty dme which would be pretty dam rare .
