We’re here!

Popped to Monte Carlo and visited the casino, fairmont hairpin and drive the go circuit. Had a €30 Euro chicken sandwich at the fairmont then set off for a coastal drive through Antibes, Cannes, St Raphael finally ending up in St Maxime,

What a beautiful part of the world and the roads, wow I wish I was in something fun. Ended up with a Jeep Compass somehow. Didn’t realise every fiat 500 is an abarth, would have requested one of those!

Anyway, had dinner at the Pons Pizza place last night which was lovely along with a few deserved beers!

Waking up to fantastic views from our villa and can hear some flat 6’s going by.

Not even seen the Porsche’s yet but this willl be a yearly trip for sure.

On a come down sat in my office today looking out at a grey wet industrial estate.

What a great weekend, what a place and what a gathering! Will be an annual trip that's for sure and may make something more of it, the roads surrounding the area would make for a great spirited run!

I took around 350 pics but here are just some snippets.

Stopped in Monte Carlo, saw a UK plated F40, Veyron, various Rolls and many other tasty cars, driving there without a sat nav would be hard, it's like an ants nest!

St Tropez Port

Now the Sat and Sunday of the parade! Nicely put together. Porsche cars were everywhere, it reminded me of Wothersee for the VW guys here.. Cars outside of the car park were also worth a see, a 550 spyder and carrera GT were parked on the road outside!

Opps

There's a huge load more but thats a taste.

Again, thanks Alex for the heads up, a great weekend and the missus loved it.

We did have a giggle at the amount of people fully Porsche geared up, the couples were the ones we were most amused by. Sorry if that's your thing but wow, next level fans! nooo Dont know Floor Floor Floor Floor

thumbsup Glad you enjoyed it Mark. Just a shame we didn't get to meet up. Just landed home about an hour. Haven't even had a chance to view my photos yet but your's look fantastic. The light and colour show off what a beautiful event it is.

Think I took in the region of 500+ photos Surprised

I'll try and get them up at some point. Thumb

Next year, was keeping an eye out for you but didn't spot ya!

Half tempted to drive it next year, I did get talking to someone from the porsche club and they said if anyone did want to bring their car and park inside, just contact the club.

It's funny, there were cars and colours that just wouldn't look right here but over there, in the sun and surroundings, work perfectly!

Certainly come away knowing I'm more drawn to the old stuff, 991's were certainly the most common cars there.

Well what a weekend. As usual never failed to please us. Great to meet up with Bikeracer1098 and also spend most of the weekend in the company of Sen.

Great turnout of cars and also loads of other nice things to look at whilst we were there. Saturday night turned into a bit of a crazy one (think the Get27 & vodka shots may have started that off) as we were invited off a DJ friend of mine to a private party in one of St Tropez's most famous clubs (http://gaio.club/). My stomach turned when my lad ordered 4 glasses of Rose at 25 euro a glass Surprised
......until the barman turned to him once he pulled his wallet out and said the drinks were free tonight. Looks like we'd crashed a private party in there with a free bar but not so free 'clientele'.....if you know what I mean Embarassed

Anyway, I'll not bore you with all the fun and shenanigans......here's a few snaps from the weekend and also the full album:

Looks like a cracking weekend! thumbsup
Great pics.

Too many nice cars to pick a favourite, but it just makes me realise how much I miss the aircooled stuff.

"Broken son" gave me a chuckle. Nowt worse than travelling with a hangover. Grin
