Hi Guys,

I just wanted to introduce myself on here.

I have just collected my 2014 991 with 2k on the clock.

Very Pleased with her so far.

She is currently being treated to a Ceramic coat over the PPF.

Hi T8,

This is my first Porsche but my previous cars include

BMW M4 - heavily modded with 560bhp which is too much power for that car, wheels spin even in 3rd gear.
Audi Q7
Audi S5 Sportback
BMW 645ci
BMW E46 M3
Audi TT 3.2DSG
Audi TT 1.8T 225 - heavily modded with turbo upgrade, intercooler etc

Defiantly the best car i've owned by far.

I've also had regular usage of a Audi R8 MK1 and a GTR, and i think the Porsche sits right between them in terms of power and handling.

Cheers,

Kal

Stunning motor Thumb

Now get it down to Ken at 9E if you fancy some missile action. It'll make the R8, GTR et al feel positively sluggish. Those bad boys respond well to a tad of boost thumbsup

I think I will leave it as it is for now as it's a nice improvement. Something tells me I will keep this one stock.

What a lovely looking machine; the grey body with the clear rear light clusters look the part. Congrats, and enjoy!

Very very nice Thumb

Welcome to the forum.

Why ceramic coating over the ppf?

Won’t any swirl marks/stone chips then show on the ceramic? Was it purely for beading/speeding up the weekly wash?

James

Hi James.

My car only had front end PPF. Rest of the car was near flawless so I wanted to protect her as I do not have a garage.

The ceramic coating will applied over both so the beeding of water and smooth to touch finish will remain over the whole car.

A new snaps on the finished version.
