PostPosted: Mon Aug 13, 2018 4:12 pm    Post subject: Fitted black Ruger Mesh wheels Reply with quote

My car looked good in it's yellow wrap with the Porsche "Sport Design" wheels in silver; but after a while I began to think it would benefit from a more purposeful and less pretty look. Thus I decided to fit some black "Ruger Mesh" wheels.

Thanks to Phil for his advice during my deliberations; last week I drove down to Projex near Bristol to have them fitted. I took some before and after pictures so I could compare and contrast and of course share on here for others who may be considering something similar at some stage. I hope you enjoy looking.

It seems I can only add 2 pictures, will post these up and then try and add more.

Yes I agree that lowering is the logical next step, but I'd very very nervous given the number of speed bumps around my way and the terrible condition of the roads. So, staying standard for now.

Straight fit with no spacers or tuner bolts etc. Now stop it, pennies staying in pockets for now Very Happy

thats interesting I thought the rugers used tuner bolts like my vertini magic so its just normal bolts ,did you need slightly longer ones or just reused the ones you had Thumb

Look great, good work Thumb

Nice guys at Projex, only a couple of mins away from me, I use them for fitting tyres on my other cars...... not sure if they do CLs but will probably leave them to the OPC anyway.

Out of interest why didn't you get the sport design put in black, it would probably achieve a similar look.

Agree, similar look, but I specifically wanted the more concave or dished-face look.
