Hi all,

Does anyone on here go to the PCGB regional meetings, specifically the North West group?

If so, what are they like?

Cheers thumbsup

Porsche enthusiasts Club are very active in the North West so may be worth considering. Busy fb presence, monthly meet and activities.

Only short beards allowed, and no sandals whatsoever...

I went to one meet when it was local to me. I'm sure they're a great bunch but I didn't give it a real go as I felt an outsider.l, so I haven't been back since.
As Spongey says the 911uk monthly meet is a great get together. Next one is 8th in Wilmslow. We'll be staying for lunch this month, and there is nothing like forging bonds over food, drink and strippers. Unfortunately there won't be strippers st this one but perhaps that can be included in the 911uk Xmas get together. Details below for next months meet.

I'm in PCGB but Region3...North East, one of the biggest.
In last night's monthly meeting we were advised that the PCGB have a had a request to split the NW group into south and north separate groups, the northern one intending to capture members from the lower reaches of Scotland. I don't know the exact delineation of territory but I'm sure more info can be had from PCGB.

Thanks for that, it might be helpful to me if they do split it Thumb

From what I've seen, the PCGB is generally retired couples. Not my bag unless there's any swinging going on.

TIPEC group are a great crowd (from the ones I know).

Monthly meet with the lads on here is my prefered option bar the strippers........Totally pointless when we could bag a herd of hookers for the same price and drive home with an empty tank.

We attended one at Garstang Hotel & Golf Club. Lancs and Lakes - Region 18. Looking forward to it TBH. New members welcome meeting event. However the main theme was a slideshow USA biker East coast to west, why ?. Never went again. That was in 2015. The venue sums it up Bandit

I think it's the Lancs/Cumbria region (Region 18?) that's splitting. PCGB's 'North West' region is a little further south, kinda Cheshire area.

Info must have come from a southerner then....who thinks Cheshire is in the North....it's not as far "Oop North" as Cumbria..... Grin

As I said to the boss in a pm the other day - 11 days of heaven in a small French Riviera fishing village stuck in the 1950s sort of made me fall out of love with technology and today's virtual society, hence my lack of interest on here since mid July.

I'm just starting to deal with reality. Surprised
