Hi there

Does anybody know if any Indy's have the equipment to activate the tracking system on the .2's ( not sure if it's the same as .1's also)?

I have registered and been given the unique code relevant to my vehicle but all the dealers seem to want a ridiculous amount of money to programme it to the car.

Thanks

The OPC's don't have the equipment to check the VTS
The main problem with reactivating the VTS Is

The VTS system is based on,a cellular phone unit, so that the car can use the cellular system and roam onto the best signal it has a Spanish SIM card
If the unit has had no active subscription the previously allocated phone no is reused
Vodafone telematics who operate the system are next to useless
If your reactivating a dormant subscription you need to suggest that they reassign a phone number to the sim serial number then after 24/48 hours the unit should work

The problem is the Vodafone operator doesn't know this and will tell you to go to an OPC to have the unit checked
