Surprised Absolutely absurd price.

Maybe £200K tops in line with the fully winged version, but not £250K.

Optimistic at the very least I’d say!

Manual CS seem to have found a market at about the £185k price point, can’t see why anyone would dream of paying £250k for a touring.

As lovely looking as it is, for me a GT3 should have the big wing.

They've apparently changed hands around £220k. targa Flori have one advertised for £215k though. Dick Lovett/OPC Swindon have a Carmine Red car....it's on the Dick Lovett website not the official Porsche one.

I’d rather have this at 250 than the Speedster at Leeds up at 355k Wink

The 2019 GT3-RS is going for less than that in the US. Are they getting 250£ for a touring or is that unrealistic pricing?

I think Porsche prices have gone mad, some ways that's a good thing for us owners even down to the 996 c2 i own, the 911 used to be accessible (reasonably speaking) even the GT range 100k+ and stay fairly firm as its a limited ish run but how has it now gone to 250k+ for essentially a GT3 without a wing and some nice classic touches, i nosed around an Oak green one at Goodwood and love it but i'd certainly not pay 150k on top of a GT3, what was the base price on this new? how many will be built? Porsche told buyers of the GT4 it was limited but they have now made thousands! good for us in the near future as we can enjoy them too, not just the mega rich buying inflated priced examples.

Personally I don't really get it. Even if you go 'touring' you will want a coffee stop. Where on earth are you going to put the coffee as you stretch your legs??

Never mind where are you going to put your coffee, anyone who buys one of these for overs needs to wake up and smell the coffee!

Given the softening of the 991.1 GT market, I wonder if, as a result, the overs curve on the 991.2 GT Market will fall away sooner?

I reckon, if we all just ingored it, it would go away. Then we could get back to talking about driving vehicles rather than investment vehicles. Floor

GT market is in for an interesting few months. Specalist dealers and OPC's have got an awful lot of cars up for sale...give it two months and they will be looking to adjust their stock levels before the winter months and OPC's will have the Sep quarter end volume targets to hit so I think there will be deals to be had in September.

As for the sheer number of cars up for sale it seems to be a combination of

- 991.2 GT3 being highest volume GT3 to date. Guesstimate of 400 to 450 cars
- GT3 RS and GT2 RS delivered at the same time as GT3 still being delivered so lots of GT cars being traded in at the same time. Lots of owners flipping 991.2 GT3's at list so they could secure a .2 GT3 RS slot from their OPC (everyone is a winner).

So we have an awful lot of GT cars on the market with OPC's having "a lot of money in them" as they've bought them at circa £130k for a good spec car. Prices are being marked down weekly.

Background to all this is that the specialist Porsche market (especially air cooled) was in a lot of trouble from Sep to March last year....prices were very soft and sales volumes down massively. I know one specialist didn't actually buy (all their new "stock" was SoR) a single car for the last four months of last year and was selling 25% of the cars it normally did. hard to see things being much better this winter.

Be interesting to see where prices are next March. Although I couldn't really care....just had the oil change done on my 991.2 GT3...running in done and first time on track in a couple of weeks Very Happy
