Anybody used DB Carbon

Hi, I got my wing mirrors and spoiler from DB Carbon, great quality and 100% recommended, only slight drawback was it took a while for the mirrors, I think about 6/8 weeks, I guess they are made to order at times, but well worth the wait.Just to add, they use genuine carbon weave lacquered in a high gloss finish, unlike some who use the dipping/transfer method, it is as good as genuine carbon products👍

some interior stuff, I like the rear valance from the US first but Design911 are really slow on deliveries been waiting 6 weeks for a GT2 rear wing

D911 can be very slow mind numbingly slow with non stock items have you progress chased it with them and get them to progress chase it with their supplier as they wont actomatically do it you need to push them at every point. :thumb:

Hi robbiej

I would reccomend dB carbon. Used them a lot for my interior parts

Just how good a match is the DB Carbon stuff next to OEM? Is it a case of having to look v. closely to be able to spot a difference?

Having a browse of the site last night, I was getting tempted by the PDK surround to match the OEM centre console on my car..

Carbon parts

I have ordered a handbrake handle and having my gear knob covered in carbon.

They do seem to take a while to come its been on order for a few weeks.
But if there look close to OEM then its worth it.

Has anyone had the center console dipped in the water transfer carbon print?

I think its about 1/5 of the price of real carbon.

I bought interior door pulls for my 997 many years ago from DB Carbon. Good quality, just be aware that the parts are all OE, just layered with carbon, not full carbon parts.

Wicked coatings at Poole did a group buy on here early last year and some went with carbon dipped centre consoles , I have used them a lot for bits and did lots of canbon dipped bits for my gen1 , the gen2 has a different look so still use them but for bodycolour interior trim
heres some pics of my gen1 scuttle and frunk trim and airbox in carbon dip
