front end noise - first run after hibernation

took the 991.1 out today after winter hibernation - noticed a knocking from front wheel which became a ticking after a few applications of the brakes and has now disappeared. any thoughts on what it might have been ? many thanks
 
Possibly build-up of corrosion on the disc surfaces which has been knocked/wiped off now that the brakes have been applied a few times. Nothing to worry about.
 
Yea - this will be build up / corrosion. I have similar if (god forbid) I don't drive the car for a couple of weeks
