Maybe I am a little out of touch with servicing costs but ...... £747 to change 6 plugs on a turbo ? really ?

Think I may be doing that part myself.

Yup. I've just had mine serviced at OPC. I informed them that the plugs had already been replaced. The service manager then cheerily informed that I'd just saved 700 quid from the bill.... phew!

Just checked my invoice from 9 Excellence and they're listed at 15.43 each (92.58 for 6) so that's a hefty labour costing!

I have it booked in for a couple of weeks time so maybe I will just buy the plugs from them .... after I ask for my PCGB discount

and do what with them? Both exhausts needs to come off on a turbo plug change :nooo:

I don`t think that`s true for a Gen 2 ....... but I will await Demorts instructions

Lets hope its simpler. Can't believe someone would make such a service item so inaccessible.

If it takes me all day it`s better than £700+

Not many days a year I earn that much :D

And the only reason that they have to change the plugs is to ensure that they don't seize ... according to my indy. We agreed to do it next year.
