Post subject: GT3RS & Turbo S
Good video on Evo pitting the 991.1 Turbo S against the 991.1 GT3.

Does this prove that all the "bunkum"; large wing, carbon fibre this, lightweight that, downforce, sticky tyres etc...etc.. is rubbish?
I know the Turbo S has 50hp advantage. However, it has a feeble rear wing and none of the "serious" race attack set up that the RS enjoys?
Just thought I would kick off today by throwing a massive cat amongst the pigeons.

Put the tyres that the RS is wearing (Cup) on the Turbo, and it’ll be quicker still!

Very little difference in it around this track.
Wonder if a longer and more demanding track would show up a bigger difference _________________ 991 Gen 1 C4S PDK Carrara White

agreed, baby track an its a go cart track. what are the numbers at Silverstone and ultimately the ring. the gap would open up for sure as the turbo shows its weight
looks like 8-9 secs here at the ring between RS and turbo S in favour of the RS: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nürburgring_Nordschleife_lap_times
Turbo S still the best daily and all rounder ever! _________________ 996 GT3 mk2 - Guards Red
