Good morning. Looking for some help.

The passenger side seat tilt lever (outside lever) broke off yesterday. Its from a 2004 997.1.

Any ideas on:

1. Whats the part number?

2. Where can I get one from, and do I have to buy multiple?

3. How easy is it to replace, is it a seat back removal job?

Thanks in advance

Mark

Part numbers here ..

I would just get one from OPC though .

Both parts should just pull off , the reality is it might be difficult because you dont have much of the knob to pull on .. and also the inner cover is pretty dam tight on some cars .

Try just levering the knob out with plastic trim tools .. seat back removal is a bit more complicated .

Do you want us to come round and fit it for you too?

If you set off early Monster, you can be in Wilmslow for lunchtime

OPC have the part, just a bit surprised I could buy it without purchasing the rest of the seat :D

When I bought my car - it was broken supplying dealer promised to replace.

After a year of nagging them, I bought it myself - see why they'd dragged their heels though!

the 996 peice is £8 (I only know because the OPC ordered it in error, based on my details still being linked to my old 996 C4S)

- the 997 version (drivers side part number is 99752162402V05) - is £42
