Am i right in thinking the generally accepted rule on a 2004 C2S with 65k on the clock is that if the IMS was going to fail it would have by now?

Has it had a clutch? If that's due, then do the IMS at the same time if you're worried.

But, odds are its fine...

It had a clutch about 4 years ago, but no mention of a replacement IMS on the invoice.

All i can say is ive not seen an IMS failure in at least 2 years now .. might even be longer .

Seen a few bore scores though in that time .. opps .. did i say that out loud .
