Seems I've finally figured out how to post pics.

This is my 996 project.

So far I've changed the coffin arms, tuning for arms, control rods, and Bilstein B8 dampers with designtek lowering springs.
I've also had fitted designtek silencers which I then had Gundo hacked.
This weekend I fitted the CAI with the K&N filter.

So far I'm loving the car. With the new exhausts and induction it really howls! It's an amazing noise as the revs climb up past 6k.

The handling is also now superb. Still quite pliant but really eager to turn.

Next jobs are: H&R anti roll bar kit. Uprated engine mounts. New wheels. Clutch. Flywheel. Possible IMS replacement. The stainless steel exhaust manifold with x pipe 200 cell cats.

I'm hoping to have it all done before a trip to Cornwall later in the year.

Brilliant cars. Thanks for reading.

Nice car :thumb:

Those are THE best wheels on a 996 Carrera.

Just lovely...

Thanks for the comments.

I'd like some 19" bbs ch. but I do also love the look of the oem 18"s.

The drop is 30mm and I'm very happy with it. 8)

In my ever so slightly biased opinion :D ........ this is looking lovely, great work so far :thumb: 8)

Thanks again for the comments.

I got the CAI and K&N filter from Ebay. Got luckly that someone was selling a nearly new one for £70.

You can buy this from Design 911 for around £140 I think? It's a great little mod for the £££.

Looks fantastic (but I am biased, as mine is very similar) :thumb:

Those wheels look great and they are amongst the lightest you can fit, too.
