I just booked tickets for this years Le Mans and I was wondering who else is going to be there? I have booked with Speed Chills staying at Houx Annexe as I'd stayed at this site before and it was reasonably good.

Doing the classic this year rather than the 24
Usually stay on Houx when we do the 24

Have a great time .. I will miss the 24 and would’ve loved to have done both but can’t im afraid and wanted to do the classic again for a change

Have fun bye

I'm going. Staying at the Mulsanne campsite, but will be travelling on motorbike.

I've been going for years, but did give it a second though this year (partially due to Porsche not being in LMP1) . . . . soon convinced myself I still had to go. It's such a great event, let's hope it doesn't go all electric in years to come.

Doing my first ever one this year in style with Club Mullholland. Can’t wait and can’t believe as life long petrol head I’ve never been. Shame on me.

Doing a dawn raid on the friday as the folk I am coming with can't make the Thursday unfortunately. No Porsche LMP1 but hopefully the GT3LM cars will come good.

Another one doing the Classic. 2016 was my first Classic and for me it is the perfect weekend. I am driving to La Mans from St Malo and taking the longer route via southern Germany for some flat out autobahn action!
Can't wait!

Hi guys, I'll go as well for the first time since my 17. I'll bring in my car (997 C2S) a French friend of mine who lives in London but is from Le Mans (I am French myself...). We'll probably drive from London on Friday morning. We'd be glad to join other cars on the way down. I am looking for advice as well as I have not booked anything yet. Should I book everything with Lucian events or are there better options ?

I've not stayed with them before, but they are very helpful on the phone. I wanted a bit of an upgrade on the usual Houx Annexe or Bleu Nord free for all without going raving mad. Lycian have a cordoned of area with televisions, a bar and food. They are a hike from "the Village", but they run a shuttle which also goes to the tram stop which is handy if you are going into town and will be drinking. Which I shall.

Flexotel with Travel Destinations, in a "Rothmans 993"... well, my 993 with a full set of decals, I hope!

Have done Martini & Gulf in previous years. My Martini effort features on Travel Destinations website, as does the back of my head!

See you there...

I’ll be there with some guys from work, Just a passenger this year ( may share a little of the driving). Original plan was to take the 964 but pretty much blew the budget on engine rebuild so blagged a ride to split the costs.

1st time for me so really looking forward to it.
Any tips to get the most out of the time there?

We’re heading down the Tuesday before and returning on the following Monday to have a bit of a holiday too.

my 24th or 25th visit this year. Staying at Eppnettes again, which is a fairly new camp site. Tickets all booked in October last year, nice grandstand seats and will arrive Wednesday and leave Monday. Can't wait.

Second year and, as above, can’t wait.

Alongside the crowd I’ll be with and the racing, I’m really looking forward to causing chaos with our new cheap folding bikes Very Happy
