Hi,

does anyone have any experience with carbon aftermarket parts offered from "DIZELL" on ebay?

They are based in London, so i am thinking of trying to see if i can go over and check. Generally i am not a fan of aftermarket wings, have read some stories where replica gt3 wings would make a noise when driving 70mph etc.

been looking for a GT3RS wing for some time..they are so hard to get hold of...

And very expensive mate even used , I think mine is from Getty design and has a carbon deck lid as well as wing. mine is a good fit and doesnt rattle . ,my observations for you to consider are
very restricted view out of the rear window nothing that serious but hard to spot :cop: sneaking up behind you are there is a blind spot
the bolts that come to fit the uprights are std and have a nut on the inside inlike the OE ones that have a domed head fixing that makes it difficult to steal, the fixings are avail from the OPC 14 bolts £160
the high level brake light on the aftermarket wings are longer than the OE and you cant just swap out your existing HL brake light .make sure it comes with a HL brake light as I had to buy a few until I got what I wanted when my one cracked and misted up.
You will need the high level brake light blanking panel from the OPC there are two types the turbo one which is the most common or the GT3RS one which has two raised bits that marry up to the raised bits on the deck lid but the turbo one will do the job.
then inside you may need to change the fan as there are three screw and four screw types depending on which you have/need they are only about £80
and lastly the air ducts are fine for the gen2 as its duel intake for the gen1 you may need to either accept cold air over the engine from the second duct or tweak your airbox , there may be an option when you buy to have single or duel openings for induction.
They are expensive even the aftermarket ones so you are welcome to come and have a good look over mine before you buy ,to be sure its what you want.
Having said all that I do like mine and it makes for a great picnic table for coffee and bacon butties at meets.   :thumb:

I must say phil that, the C4S is looking mighty :thumb:

Are you going to put some GT3 rims on her? The ones at present are great so no offence intended

Sorry for going off topic.

Good luck TBE997 :thumb:

Hi Ian, I have been toying with putting some 991 20" on but still just toying as I need to understand what tyres to not upset the AWD ,I saw some that had a very GT3 look to them, I dont want to go too far as I am not trying to create a replica RS just a nice aggressive car that suits what I want , this is part of why I havent added the front wheel arch extenders as the RS has YET
although it does now have the OE RS side skirts

Nice one phil mate :thumb:

Look forward to seeing the wheels and front arches soon then

Dont buy a wing off ebay, the quality will be naff and it wont fit propertly

as it's been said, buy cheap - buy twice
