clatter when hot

Hello

Noticed that my 997 has started to clatter for 1 sec when restarting on hot engine. Fine from a cold start and fine when driving. Any ideas?

funny that you say starter motor. I had a new starter motor and battery fitted at OPC yesterday as I couldn't start the car.

I noticed the clattering noise on start up when i got to porsche as i wanted to see if i could get the car to start.
