Well, circa 1200 miles into ownership the CEL came on last week with the following codes.

P1128
P1130

'Oxygen adaptation for both cylinder banks, idle range" was the fault summary.

Cleared the codes, ran for a week clean but came back tonight under similar circumstances to the initial CEL event (up to temp, 20 mins drive, idling on driveway for a minute or so then CEL appears).

Could be entirely coincidental, but the faults have only started appearing around a week / 200 miles since fitting a design tek Helmholtz Resonator delete kit - though still running the oem paper air filter, so don't think the often reported oil contamination on MAF issue in this case here.

Wondered what the learned masses thought... my plan of attack is / has been as follows:

No obvious signs of AOS malfunction
Check for any air leaks on inlet side (nothing obvious from initial poke around)
Clean MAF (could have maybe got dirty / disturbed when putting induction hose on..?)
Replace MAF
Start looking for iffy oxygen sensors

After that, running out of ideas...

Any help / previous experiences of similar / same codes would be much appreciated!

Cheers,

Dan

Make sure your oil filler cap is tight and not leaking .. also no obvious air leaks or splits in the breather / oil filler tube.

make sure you have no exhaust leaks especially near the lambdas .

I had the same, cleaned the MAF it disappeared for a while but returned, replaced the MAF problem solved.

Its a common issue and covered extensively on RL.
