Hi guys after the battery being replaced on my 2003 996t there is no sound from the stereo and it's saying on the screen system error amplifier not available can anyone help with this

:agree:

If the fuse / power supply to the amp are ok then the amp has died .. it has gone to a better place .. its pushing up the daisys and it is no more .

This is an Ex Amp .

I've had 2 amps go in mine. Fairly easy to replace with a socket set to remove the old one. Check the part number and give Bob at 'Boxster Bits' a call. They break Porsches (not just Boxsters) and can hopefully give you some help sourcing a replacement amp. Think I paid about £200 for a replacement.

Hopefully it's just a blown fuse, but if not hope this helps.
