Wheel Arch Stone chip protection film?

Just had a little paintwork done on mine for this very reason (stone chip/rash) so will give this a go, would be good to keep it tidy around the arches :thumb:

I've just had my rear pu painted so will try a set of those too.

I had a set of 944 clear front wing protectors on before, they didn't fit great but did a job, these look like a better solution.

OK - reinstated the photos using Imgur.com (been meaning to do that for a while), so Cableguy's link now shows the pics.

Those eBay films look a bit odd in the diagrams? Almost as if they are fitted to the wrong end?

Shape of the rear one looks similar to those I made for the fronts?

Make sure you have a nice warm environment for fitting the film as it needs to be flexible.

Hi

Finally got around to fitting this clear protector kit I got off eBay. Well worth it to protect the vulnerable stone chip areas on a 993. I had to reshape the front ones as I didn't like the fit, but the rears are good. However, the rear ones don't go right inside the PU, so I added a couple more cut pieces. Overall, at £19, not a bad kit.

I need to drive it now!

Looking good there.

Did you just stick them on dry? Must be tricky.

(And very brave to fit them in the cold weather; I think I did mine on the hottest day of the year)

Yes, did dry. Just used the hair dryer to heat them up first so that they would stretch a little.
